Part VII: Characters

Characters who are based on natives:

company (crossbowman) woodfolk woods girl (archer) patrol captain, amazon (short swordsman) lancers (lancer) bashkars (raider) order white knight (knight) soldiers (pikeman) rogues swordsman (swordsman), berserker (great axeman), guard (great swordsman)

For completeness, we need a light character with a spear (lancer), a light/medium character with a short sword (raider/assassin), a medium armored character with a crossbow (crossbowman), and a medium armored character with a spear (pikeman). The white knight is really more like a great swordsman than like a knight.

A character could start with "woods knowledge", secretly looking at all the chits in the woods. At the start of the game, the character turns up the smoke or stink W chit and starts at the campfire.

A character could have chits that simply have a color on them. He uses them like color chits, but when he rests them, they instantly become color again.
